Veteran's Week

I visited the Elsmere Veteran's Hospital Friday afternoon to show our gratitude towards all the men and women who fought for our country. I met many men and one very special lady. Her name was Helen and she was so sweet to me. I will always remember her. I unfortunately do not have any photos, but I will always remember Mr. Green, Steve, Mr. Gray and many others who made my feel like a queen for the day.

Rob, a volunteer for the hospital.

This was David and he was the photographer and the comedian for the day.

A I duPont Hospital

I had the privilege to volunteer at the children's hospital and made many new friends. We made puppet animals and great pictures for their room. I had wonderful time and I will never forget my new buddy Vinnie.

Tim Qualls Show

Yesterday, I was a guest on the Tim Qualls Show. It is a local TV show in New Castle County that highlights local events and interests. A special thanks to the show's staff, who were warm, welcoming, and professional!

CLOTHING SPONSORS:
I had the honor of shopping at two of my sponsoring boutiques. They both are wonderful and unique boutiques that have just about everything you could imagine for looking your best.

Visiting with pageant sponsor Lili Kohr, owner of Tiger Lili boutique in Rehoboth. I had a ball shopping for wardrobe items. Lili is a pageant girl herself and very knowledgeable.
The website address is
http://www.tigerlilionline.com/.

My other wonderful sponsor is Strike A Pose Boutique (http://strikeaposeboutique.com) in Camden-Wyoming. Strike A Pose carries a wide range of tops, gowns, casual wear, and the most unique jewelry I have ever seen. The owner Renee Lawson was lovely and very helpful.

For all of your pageant needs, please visit Tiger Lili or Strike A Pose. I guarantee that you will walk away a happy customer!

MRS DELAWARE TRAINING SPONSORS:

In addition to having the honor of being crowned Mrs. Delaware, I get to work with the wonderful and generous fitness sponsors. Justine Dohring of Rehoboth Beach is my official trainer. If you want to see results, please check out her website at www.freewebs.com/justinedohring.

Atlas Gym, located at the Middletown Crossing Shopping Center, is where you will find me several days a week as I follow Justine's fitness plan in preparation for the Mrs. America swimsuit competition. They have a wonderful facility, are always helpful, and even offer daycare services.
