Day Two

I had most of the day off today as we were waiting for the rest of the delegates to come in, so my new best friends, New Mexico, Alaska, and Wyoming all went shopping!! It was really neat because we went to the mall and then are you ready for this... KMart!! And the best was that we were in our banners. It was so wonderful to see the reaction from all the residents here in Arizona. They are wonderful people and I would recommend coming here to everyone.

Day Three

This morning we woke up and had a mile walk down the mountain to another beautiful resort for a fitness walk and breakfast. It was a lovely walk and luckily I think the wildlife was still asleep because nothing jumped out at us :-).

I'm here!!! This is rock is at the bottom of the driveway to the resort. I asked the driver to pull over so I could get a picture. I thought it was so neat.
The view from my balcony. I wake up to this every morning for the next 15 days. How wonderful is that??!!

Surfing Steven

This past Thursday , Steven had the opportunity to go out with professional surfers and surf for the first time. Steven had a blast and was out surfing for almost an hour. It was for an really great event involving children with Autism. This has become one of my many platforms, and I will continue to do research in Autism due to the fact that Steven is having some speech issues so we are exploring all options for him. Everything is going fine though and there has been a lot of improvements. Please enjoy the pictures as we enjoyed the event.

Blue Rocks Baseball Game

The Blue Rocks celebrated their 15th anniversary this weekend and their mascot Rocky Bluewrinkle also. Some mascots from other teams came out to celebrate with Rocky and I got a chance to take some photos with them. It was a raining morning however turned out to be a sunny, however very humid afternoon. I also threw the first pitch. It was a wonderful afternoon.
A friend of mine took some pictures as well and as soon as I get them from her, I will put the rest of the mascots on here.
