Growing up fast

I wanted to take a moment and share some family photos from this week with you. My oldest son Steven, who is 29 months old said the alphabet this week and we are so proud of him. Matthew is learning how to sign language like his big brother. They are both the apple of my eye and are doing wonderful.
These are some pictures that I took of them in their matching Sarasota shirts from their grandma as well as some photos of their bottoms in their new pool. Hope you all enjoy your Memorial Day weekend and stay safe.

VA Hospital Carnival

After the Old Dover Days Parade I had the pleasure of visiting the Veterans Hospital in Elsmere for a carnival hosted by the Veterans. It was wonderful to see the patients really enjoy themselves.

This lovely women is General Wiley's mom. I met him last weekend at the All Ranks Ball. She was such a sweet person and it was so nice to talk to her.

Mrs. New Castle County & Mrs. Diamond State

Mrs. New Castle County and Diamond State preliminaries were held this weekend. The competitors were all wonderful and certainly any of them could have won. I told my director that I am glad that I am not competing this year because these contestants are just terrific! The judges had their work cut out for them.
I am sorry that we did not get the opportunity to take a group shot however, the winners were Mrs. New Castle County, Fawn Stoms and Mrs. Diamond State, Shannon Hamlin.
CONGRATULATIONS to the winners and all the contestants.

Delaware Today Bridal Show

1st Annual Delaware Today Bridal Show in Sussex County

The event was held at Baywood Golf Course and Country Club. It was an absolutely beautiful and breath-taking area. The weather was bit on the windy side but otherwise warm and sunny. It was a wonderful event to be apart of and I would participate again anytime.

All Ranks Military Ball

I had the priviledge to attend a All Ranks Military Ball over the weekend. It was an event to honor all the soldiers from the divisions. It was a wonderful event and was entertaining. It was nice to see the gentlemen relaxed and having a good time with their friends and family. I even got the honor to receive a personal coin from a 2 star general. It was the most amazing moment of my life and I will always remember him and cherish my coin.
