Blue Rocks Baseball Game

The Blue Rocks celebrated their 15th anniversary this weekend and their mascot Rocky Bluewrinkle also. Some mascots from other teams came out to celebrate with Rocky and I got a chance to take some photos with them. It was a raining morning however turned out to be a sunny, however very humid afternoon. I also threw the first pitch. It was a wonderful afternoon.
A friend of mine took some pictures as well and as soon as I get them from her, I will put the rest of the mascots on here.

Delaware City Day Parade

This weekend was the Delaware City Day festival. The festivities begin with a parade at 11:00 and finish with fireworks at 9:30pm. It is a small town with a lot of history behind it. The Delaware City Day Festival began back in 1979. It is a true tradition for these small town people. I am just grateful that I got to the chance to be a part of it.

Getting ready for the parade.

Bad Hair Day?

Bad Hair Day? is our official hair salon sponsor for next year. I had the privilege this past weekend to meet some of the ladies that work that. It was a wonderful experience and they took very good care of me there. I wanted to share just a couple of pictures that were taken. I also wanted to thank Kat for doing a wonderful job and making me feel confident about maintaining my hair for nationals. I will never forget our experience. :-)

Nanticoke Riverfest

This was the 13th Annual Nanticoke River Festival. It began on Thursday with a carnival and throughout the weekend many activities followed. The Miss and Jr. Miss Pageant was held Friday night. I had the oppportunity to judge, sign autographs and meet so many wonderful people. I want to thank Trisha for inviting my to this great family festival and take advantage of all the activities that followed. I had a wonderful time and will be back next year.
