1st Day of School

Today was the boys first day of school. It was Steven's second year attending the school so he was a pro but Matthew's first, and it was a rough morning for mommy. I missed his smiley facce all day but they both had a GREAT day and really enjoyed their teachers. Matthew's teacher wants to adopt him. She would have him back to me in 2 days... guaranteed :-)
Enjoy the photos everyone.

Beauties of America Pageant

This last Saturday night I had the opportunity to attend the 24th Annual Beauties of America Pageant. It was a wonderful pageant and would suggest this system to anyone of my friends. The winners were beautiful inside and out. I also ran into a very dear friend of mine, Mrs. NY America 2004 Missy Ognibene. She is such a sweetheart and it was so wonderful to see her. I also met the new state director for North Carolina International Joy Pfister who I think is a wonderful person and am looking forward to working with her. Aislinn Carter is someone else that I met is a such a hoot. We laughed almost the entire pageant and she is just so amazing. We actually share the same birthday and live not far away from each other, so I feel bad for the hubby :-) Enjoy the photos and see you all soon.

Surfers Healing

Both the boys this year got the honor of surfing in Wrightsville Beach, NC. It was an amazing experience. I hope you enjoy these photos of them as much as I do. Both of the boys did a great job and had a blast after their first wave in. They both went out and stayed out for a quite awhile. They would ride the wave in and then get back on and go back out. It was a wonderful thing to see and if you ever have the chance to experience a Surfers Healing Event I would highly suggest you pack up the beach bag and go for the day. It will bring a tear to your eye.
